DC High Court Revives Doctor’s Termination Dispute, Finds HCQIA Immunity Dismissal Premature

The District of Columbia Court of Appeals vacated July 1 a trial court’s finding that MedStar-Georgetown University Hospital was immune from a terminated physician’s suit under the Health Care Quality Improvement Act (HCQIA) and DC’s peer review law.
