CMS Finalizes Rule Requiring Advance Notice of Accrediting Organization Ownership Changes

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued April 29 a final rule (87 Fed. Reg. ) that requires Medicare Accrediting Organizations (AOs)to provide the agency with advance notice of pending changes of ownership (CHOW).
