U.S. Court in Alabama Won’t Dismiss Health Care Worker’s ADA Claims Against Hospital over COVID Accommodation

A federal court in Alabama allowed September 20 a mental health technician to move forward with claims that her former hospital employer violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by allegedly refusing to accommodate her request for assignments to “non-COVID” floors or departments.
