CMS Issues Proposed Rule on Calculating Hospital-Specific Limits for Medicaid DSH Payments

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published February 24 (88 Fed. Reg. 11865) a proposed rule aimed at providing more clarity to states and hospitals on how the hospital-specific limits for Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments are calculated in light of recent legislative changes.
