On November 3, 2022, the United States Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) sent a letter to Congress outlining three key focus areas to protect and advance children’s health care in the United States. These three focus areas—(1) addressing the mental health emergency among children; (2) addressing shortages in the pediatric health care workforce; and (3) safeguarding children’s health coverage—define long term collective and interrelated legislative and regulatory priorities for CHA’s 220 member hospitals.
