What is or could be the relationship between health care transaction due diligence and health care provider community efforts to enhance patient safety? This article discusses why in many cases it makes sense to recognize and foster such a relationship. Lawyers working on health care transactions should have the knowledge to evaluate how due diligence focused on patient safety can add value to pre- and post-closing operations.
