The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida recently issued an opinion dismissing one health insurance company's antitrust charges against a rival, holding that Florida Blue's use of exclusivity agreements with insurance brokers is the business of insurance and the McCarren-Ferguson Act shields such activity from antitrust scrutiny.
