On February 27, 2020, the Federal Trade Commission issued an Administrative Complaint (Complaint) against the Thomas Jefferson University (Jefferson) and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network (Einstein) health care systems (together, the Systems), alleging that a proposed merger between the two would violate Section 7 of the Clayton Act and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act.
