IRA Charitable Rollover
If you're 70 ½ or older with a traditional IRA, you can make a significant impact on AHLA's mission through a tax-free charitable rollover.For those 72 or older facing Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), these gifts satisfy your RMD while offering substantial tax benefits.

How to Make Your IRA Charitable Rollover Gift
- Contact your IRA plan administrator and request a direct transfer to AHLA

Important Notes
- IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable tax deduction, as the distribution is already tax-free
- AHLA will send you an acknowledgment for your records
- You must be at least 70 ½ when the distribution is made
- The maximum amount that qualifies is $100,000
