Volunteer Opportunities

AHLA offers volunteer opportunities for members at every career stage, from authoring and speaking to mentoring and leading. While AHLA membership is not required to view opportunities, you must be a member and logged into the Health Law Network to formally apply for opportunities.

Types of Volunteer Roles

Volunteers contribute to AHLA's educational content, community, and leadership. Opportunities are available to members of all specialties and experience levels.

Positions include (but are not limited to):

• Authors: Connections, bulletins, briefings, toolkits, 101 courses
• Speakers: Live webinars, podcasts, and in-person or virtual conference faculty
• Participants: Judging panels, moderators, and focus groups
• Communications Champions: Social Media, Community Ambassadors, Cohort Captains
• Mentors: Available for all career levels
• Volunteer Leaders (Board of Directors, Nominating Committee, Councils, Conference Planning Committees, Practice Groups, and the Dispute Resolution Service Review Board)
