NIH Researchers Preparing To Study Rare Cases Of People Who Experienced Severe Allergic Reactions To The Pfizer Coronavirus Vaccine

The Washington Post (12/21, Achenbach) reports researchers at the NIH “are rushing to devise a study to find out why, in a few rare cases, people have had severe allergic reactions to the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.” The aim of the study will be “to identify the component of the vaccine most likely to be responsible for these potentially life-threatening incidents, known as anaphylaxis.”
