HHS Expands Policy Allowing Pharmacists To Inoculate Children Three And Older

Bloomberg Law (9/9, Lee, Subscription Publication) reports on Wednesday, the Department of Health and Human Services announced “an expanded HHS inoculation policy that preempts local laws” under which “pharmacists that meet certain licensing and training criteria will be able to vaccinate kids three years old or older.” Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir said, “Allowing pharmacists to order and administer COVID-19 vaccines will greatly expand convenient access for the American people.”
