White House Releases Guidance Extending Audits For COVID-19 Relief

Modern Healthcare (12/22, Bannow, Subscription Publication) reports, “Some healthcare providers – along with states, universities and other organizations – are getting an extra three months to audit their COVID-19 relief aid.” Modern Healthcare adds “the White House’s Office of Management and Budget on Tuesday released guidance with instructions on how to audit money received under its COVID-19 relief distributions, including the” CARES Act. The new rules “extend the audit deadline, as many had anticipated.”
