FTC Warns Some Nursing Homes Are Taking Residents’ Stimulus Checks

CNN (5/19) reports the Federal Trade Commission is warning “that nursing homes in several states are requesting residents sign over their stimulus checks.” FTC Elder Justice Coordinator Lois Greisman said that some facilities are falsely saying they get to keep the payment if a patient is on Medicaid.
