FDA Expands Emergency Use Authorization Of Remdesivir For People Hospitalized With COVID-19

Reuters (8/28, Erman, Roy) reported the FDA “expanded the emergency use authorization of” Gilead’s antiviral drug remdesivir for all people hospitalized with COVID-19. The drug was previously only authorized for people with severe COVID-19.
