COVID-19 Vaccines Being Distributed Under Extraordinary Security Measures

The Hill (12/17, Wilson) reports, “Hospitals and health care systems are taking unprecedented steps to safeguard” COVID-19 vaccines, due to “concerns over security and the potential for black markets,” and a requirement by Operation Warp Speed “to develop a security plan.” There are “extra security personnel and constantly running cameras” in and around the “storage units, where the locks have been upgraded.” Amid all this, “the United States is still grappling with ways to keep track of everyone who receives a vaccine.”
