HHS Awards $8 Million To Expand Training And Assistance For Community Health Centers Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Bloomberg Law (6/11, Stein, Subscription Publication) reports groups and nonprofits which “provide training and assistance to community health centers will get $8 million to expand that work during the [COVID-19] pandemic, the HHS announced Thursday.” Approximately “$6 million will go to state or regional nonprofits that consult and share information with community health centers.” In addition, “about $2.5 million will go to organizations that focus on training and technical assistance for specific underserved populations.”
