Testing Partnership To Be Announced Between White House, National Retailers

Politico (4/27, Lim) reports that “several national retailers, including CVS Health, are set to announce a significant expansion of self-swab coronavirus testing efforts at the White House” Monday evening. A spokesperson from HHS “said the private-public partnership with retail pharmacy chains will expand access to self-administered coronavirus tests.” According to Politico, “executives from Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, Kroger, Thermo Fisher, Rite Aid, U.S. Cotton, Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp and the American Clinical Laboratory Association attended a White House meeting [Monday] afternoon to discuss the effort.”
