Operation Warp Speed COO Says Vaccine May Be Available Starting In December

NPR (11/9, Huang) reports that Gen. Gustave Perna, COO for Operation Warp Speed, “anticipates that the first of millions of Americans could start receiving COVID-19 vaccines as soon as next month.” Perna told NPR, “I think a safe and effective vaccine will be available initially in December,” adding that “10- to 30- million doses of vaccine will be available that we can start distributing.”
