First Reflections—The Excitement of Health Law

Now is such an exciting time to be in health law. For more than 60 years, health law has experienced great expansion and growth. Issues surrounding health care delivery in the 1960s and the efforts to improve care and cover costs were core to the expansion that occurred. These issues included vast populations of people in need of physical and financial access to health care, the prevalence of quality and safety concerns, innovation and technology advancements, and challenges to improve efficiencies.
