In recent years, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) have become a key site for research (particularly since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic). Traditionally, SNFs have not been heavily involved in research. However, this is changing and SNFs are approached by outside researchers more frequently to consider participation in research opportunities.
