Walgreens’ VillageMD to Acquire Summit-Health for $8.9 Billion

Primary care provider VillageMD has inked an agreement to acquire Summit Health-CityMD for $8.9 billion with investments from Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. and Cigna Corp. subsidiary Evernorth, according to a statement.
