Senate FY 2023 HHS Appropriations Measure Includes Funding for Abortion Travel Expenses

Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) released July 28 a $216.1 billion spending bill for the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Education that includes $350 million in new funding to help women travel to states where abortion remains legal.
