Pharmaceutical Company Agrees to $3.5 Million False Claims Settlement

Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. will pay $3.5 million to resolve allegations that it paid kickbacks to doctors to induce them to prescribe its drug EXPAREL, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Rachael A. Honig announced July 28.
