U.S. Court in California Rejects Anthem’s Lawsuit Against HaloMD Alleging No Surprises Act Dispute Resolution Misuse

A federal court dismissed, without leave to amend, a lawsuit brought by a subsidiary of Elevance Health alleging that HaloMD and various providers (collectively, defendants) fraudulently pursued arbitration through the No Surprises Act (NSA) independent dispute resolution (IDR) process for ineligible out-of-network claims.
