U.S. Court in Texas Rejects Insurer’s Lawsuit Against HaloMD Alleging No Surprises Dispute Resolution Misuse

Another lawsuit brought by an insurer alleging providers are misusing the No Surprises Act (NSA) independent dispute resolution (IDR) process failed to gain traction, this time with the U.S. Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissing Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Texas’ action against HaloMD for allegedly pursuing ineligible out-of-network claims.
