Supreme Court Won’t Review Provider Challenges to No Surprises IDR Awards

The U.S. Supreme Court declined January 12 to consider review a Fifth Circuit decision holding health care providers may not sue in court to enforce awards against insurers under the No Surprises Act (NSA) independent dispute resolution (IDR) process except in certain limited circumstances set forth in the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
