U.S. Court in DC Tosses MA Plans’ Challenge to Quality Data Change During COVID

A federal court in the District of Columbia upheld June 1 an interim final rule that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued last year suspending a requirement that Medicare Advantage (MA) plans collect and submit annual data on patient care and satisfaction to the agency during the COVID-19 pandemic.
