U.S. Court in Virginia Says FDA Must Reconsider Mifepristone Restrictions

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia found certain restrictions the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) required for the abortion pill mifepristone in 2023 were unlawful, ordering the agency to reconsider rules requiring that pharmacies and physicians be specially certified to prescribe the drug.
