Florida Medical Practice to Pay $750,000 to Settle False Billing Allegations

U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Maria Chapa Lopez announced May 20 that a Florida medical practice, Premier Medical Associates (PMA), agreed to pay $750,000 to resolve allegations that it billed federal health care programs for medically unnecessary services in violation of the False Claims Act.
