Encryption: It’s Not as Common as You Think

Although it might seem as if encryption is common practice, it is still not used as much as it should be. Even with today’s advanced encryption technology that is affordable and easier to use, health care organizations are still leaving data unencrypted, and thus, vulnerable to breaches and unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information.
