CMS Unveils New Drug Payment Models

As 2025 came to close, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) launched one new voluntary payment model to test Medicare Part D and Medicaid coverage of GLP-1 medications for weight management and proposed two other mandatory models aimed at lowering prescription drug costs.
