FTC Challenges Illumina’s Proposed Acquisition of Grail, Says Deal Will Dampen Innovation

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has filed an administrative complaint and authorized a federal court action to block Illumina Inc.’s $7.1 billion proposed acquisition of cancer detection test maker Grail, according to a March 30 agency press release.
