HHS to Distribute $560 Million in COVID Relief Funds to Providers

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration, is distributing an additional $560 million in Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 4 payments to health care providers who have experienced revenue losses and expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the agency announced February 24.
The latest Phase 4 General Distribution payments are going to more than 4,100 providers across the country, HHS said.
According to a press release, roughly 86% of all Phase 4 applications have been processed. Remaining applications will continue to be processed throughout early 2022.
