Urgent Care Center Management Company May Operate Lab Without Running Afoul of AKS, OIG Says

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) said in an advisory opinion posted February 18 that a requestor’s proposal to operate a laboratory that would provide services to patients of urgent care centers managed by the requestor would not generate prohibited remuneration under the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS).
