Medicaid, CHIP Enrollment Grows Amid Pandemic

From July 2019 to July 2020, enrollment in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) increased by about 5.6%, driven largely by the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) said in the 2020 edition of MACStats: Medicaid and CHIP Data Book.
