Medical Group Agrees to HIPAA Right of Access Settlement with OCR

Riverside Psychiatric Medical Group has agreed to take corrective actions and pay $25,000 to the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR), the agency announced November 6. The settlement is the tenth enforcement action in OCR’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Right of Access Initiative.
