Medicare Payments for Hospital Outpatient Services to Increase 2.6% in 2026

Medicare payments under the hospital outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS) will increase by $8 billion to roughly $101 billion in calendar year (CY) 2026, according to a final rule (90 Fed. Reg. 53448) that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published November 25.
