OIG Says Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Can Provide Drug at No Charge to Low-Income Patients

A pharmaceutical company that provides its potentially curative, one-time drug for free to low-income patients who lack insurance coverage would not face administrative sanctions, according to an advisory opinion posted by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General on March 24.
