New York Hospice Provider to Pay $5.2 Million to Resolve Fraud Allegations

Metropolitan Jewish Health System Hospice and Palliative Care (MJHS) will pay $5.2 million to the federal government and state of New York to resolve allegations that it improperly billed Medicare and Medicaid in violation of the False Claims Act, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Seth D. DuCharme announced August 19.
