House Clears Appropriations Measure with Nearly $117 Billion in Funding for HHS

Lawmakers moved closer to wrapping up remaining appropriation bills ahead of the January 30 expiration of the current continuing resolution (CR) unveiling this week a three-bill minbus that includes roughly $116.6 to 116.8 billion in discretionary funding for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The House passed the package by a 341 to 88 margin on January 22.
