U.S. Court in DC Temporarily Blocks Rule Narrowing Access to Higher Graduate Student Borrowing Limits

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia temporarily enjoined the Department of Education from enforcing provisions of a recent final rule set to take effect July 1 that limit who qualifies as a “professional” student for purposes of new federal borrowing caps on graduate student loans.
