The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is stepping up oversight of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement™ (TEFCA®) with a new federal contractor now in place to help verify participating organizations are following required policies and procedures, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced June 26.
