HHS Announces OCR Reorganization to Prioritize Civil Rights, Conscience and Religious Freedom

The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is being reorganized into three distinct divisions: conscience and religious freedom; civil rights; and health information privacy, data, and cybersecurity, the agency announced May 18.
