U.S. Court in Georgia Allows Whistleblower Claim Alleging DME Company Non-Compliant with Florida Licensing Regulations

A federal district court in Georgia refused May 22 to dismiss a whistleblower’s claim that her former employer, a durable medical equipment (DME) company, improperly billed the federal government for equipment provided to customers in Florida when it was not in compliance with the state’s licensing requirements.
