U.S. Court in Connecticut Won’t Nix Multi-State Action Alleging Price-Fixing of Generic Dermatological Products

A multi-state action against 36 pharmaceutical companies, including Sandoz Inc. and Pfizer Inc., and their executives alleging a long-running conspiracy to artificially inflate prices and reduce competition in the sale of generic dermatological products can move forward after a federal district court in Connecticut refused October 30 to toss the bulk of the antitrust claims as time barred.
