New Haven Agrees to Pay $202,400 to OCR for Potential HIPAA Violations

The City of New Haven, CT reached a settlement with the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy and security rules, OCR announced October 30. Under the settlement, New Haven will pay $202,400 and implement a corrective action plan that includes two years of monitoring.
