HHS Announces AI-Powered Review of State, Grantee Financial Audits

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will use “next-generation AI analytical tools” to scrutinize at least five years of financial audits that states, local governments, nonprofits, and other recipients of $1 million or more in federal funds must perform annually, the agency announced May 21.
