U.S. Court in Alabama Refuses to Dismiss Whistleblower Action Against Cancer Care Provider, Radiation Oncologist

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama refused January 27 to dismiss a whistleblower action against Alabama Cancer Care LLC (ACC) and a radiation oncologist for allegedly defrauding Medicare by billing for radiation oncology services that were never performed or were medically unnecessary.
