A federal court in Massachusetts dismissed with prejudice a qui tam action under the False Claims Act against Gainwell Technologies LLC alleging it facilitated, in its role as fiscal agent for Rhode Island Medicaid, a hospital’s years-long scheme to submit false and inflated bills for reimbursement to the program.
